Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how AITShirt ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website and our AI T-shirt design generator (the "Service"). The Service turns your text prompts and reference images into digital T-shirt design files. We do not print, sell or ship physical products.

Information we collect

1. Account information — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider.
2. Prompts and uploads — the ideas, slogans and settings you enter, and any reference images you upload to create a design.
3. Generated designs — the images the Service creates for you, including transparent-background and upscaled print versions.
4. Credits and orders — your plan, credit balance, credit history and order records (product, amount, currency, status and dates). Card and wallet details are handled by our payment processors; we never see or store full card numbers.
5. Support messages — what you send us in support tickets or by email.
6. Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and timestamps, collected through server logs. We use it to run the Service, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, rate limits).
7. Cookies — cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language and layout preferences. If we use analytics cookies, we ask for your consent first where the law requires it, and you can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.

How we use your information

• To generate, process, store and deliver your designs.
• To run your account, credits, subscriptions and payments, and to refund credits automatically when a generation fails.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and content that breaks our Terms of Service.
• To answer support requests and send service messages such as sign-in links, password resets and receipts.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.

AI processing and model training

To create a design, we send your prompt and any reference image to the third-party AI model provider that runs that generation, and the resulting image to the providers that remove the background or upscale it, if you turn those options on. They receive this data only to produce your result and process it under their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not use your prompts, uploaded images or generated designs to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

Where your designs are stored

Generated designs and uploaded reference images are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage, and account data in our database hosted on Cloudflare. Each file is served from an unlisted link: it is not published or listed anywhere, but anyone who has the exact link can open it, so share links with care.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run the Service for us: hosting, database and file storage (Cloudflare), AI model providers, payment processors, email delivery and, if enabled, analytics. They may use the data only to provide their services to us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
• A successor, if the Service is merged, acquired or sold, under terms that keep this policy's protections.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information, prompts and designs for as long as your account is active, so you can download your designs again. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise this data within a reasonable period, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons (such as order records) and limited security logs.

Security

We use encryption in transit, restricted access to production systems and encrypted storage for sensitive settings. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile in your account settings, or contact us to make any other request. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for those transfers.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, let you know through the Service or by email.
